AnyCast is a network routing method that allows multiple servers to share a single IP address. It allows clients to connect to the server that is geographically closest to them, which can help to reduce latency and improve the overall player experience.

For Rust, this is only relevant for the Server Browser and the associated ping that is displayed to players. AnyCast does NOT have benefits as it relates to in-game player performance.
